Mycroft Evans is a technology professional with fourteen years of experience making businesses highly efficient and creating profitable products through a unique productizing methodology. Evans has applied this methodology to market research, web-based application development and contact center optimization. Evans has managed product development, projects and operations domestically and abroad in companies using a variety of development methodology.

Mycroft began her corporate career with market research with Griggs Anderson Research / Gartner Group, translating between Sales and Technology professionals. While in this role, Mycroft’s developed her natural skills simplifying and automating products. Through automation, Mycroft optimized a number of labor-intensive processes allowing workgroups to reduce stress and increase capacity, improving profitability and customer satisfaction.

Mycroft moved on to market research startup company Information Works, where she was able to leverage the dynamic environment of a startup to integrate everything from operations to billing. Here, she justified, specified and launched an efficient, profitable subscription-based product line optimized to address trends in web site utilization. This product represented 25% of all new sales. Mycroft also developed operational procedures including a project workflow and sales lifecycle. These new procedures reduced training time and personnel overhead.

In 2000 Mycroft moved to California to work as a Project & Product Manager with Genesys Telecommunications, Inc, the leading provider of computer telephony integration software. She identified key areas for enhancing the integration of the Genesys multi-media solution with the broader Genesys product suite. The resulting specification produced an award-winning (CT Expo ‘Best of Show’) product more closely aligned with customer and analyst expectations, and moved to a lead position in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant. Later, she proposed long-term strategy to develop web self-service in multi-media product offering and supervised the first phase of development. Resulting enhancements improved breath and usability of existing functionality resulting in appeal to a broader customer base and improving customer satisfaction among existing customers.
In 2005, Mycroft moved to Melbourne, Australia where she worked for Telstra, Australia’s leading provider of telecommunications services to businesses and consumers, as a Group Manager in the Contact Centre group. She improved profitability of mature product in highly competitive market by modifying pricing, simplifying sales process, targeting strategic accounts and improving product appeal to market with historically low penetration resulting in $38M annual increase in revenue. She built a cohesive team from isolated individuals from multiple departments, and led this team to develop a standardized product from a previously all-custom offering. The offering (previously accessible only to large enterprise customers) was expanded and positioned to offer great value to small- and medium-size businesses comprising 50% of the market. The resulting product resulted in 61% increase in year on year revenues.

She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Reed College, including one year studying in Oxford, England.
